A Unique Approach

We connect jobseekers, employers and government programmes in order to make sure local labour markets work efficiently. To achieve this, we have developed a distinctive approach:

We do not give up on people, judge them or write them off.

We work with society's most disadvantaged and marginalised adults and young people, who are often overlooked by other agencies.

Our clients include long-term unemployed people, those on sickness or incapacity benefits, entire families where generations have never worked, prisoners, people with drug or alcohol problems and young people from deprived backgrounds.

The quality and dedication of our staff are key to our successes with clients. Tomorrow's People employs professional experts in recruitment, training opportunities and government employment initiatives, who understand the problems faced by clients.

We dedicate time in one-to-one contact with clients - allowing targeted advice, mentoring, confidence-building and practical help to find jobs or training. Our Advisers spend 45-60 minutes with a client per meeting.

At Tomorrow's People, no one is just a number. We treat everyone who comes to us as an individual, with their own problems and barriers, their own abilities and aspirations, so that each client gets the personal help he or she needs. We see their potential, and we help people to help themselves.

We help individuals to find work that is right for them, and we continue to support them once they are in a job, so that both the employer and employee have confidence they will get our continued support. We measure our success not only by getting people into jobs, but also by keeping them there.

We put a premium on making excellent links with employers - understanding their requirements and building trust that applicants put forward by us will be right for their organisation.

We are always looking for innovative approaches to reach more people, working in prisons, in GP surgeries and with ex-gang members.

We are a national organisation, delivering locally. We use our knowledge and expertise in local jobs markets to spot issues early, respond and find solutions.
