Our Board

David qualified as a chartered accountant and spent most of his career in the profession with Deloittes and Coopers and Lybrand (later PwC). During that time he was a member of the main Board and was the partner in charge of the central London office based at Embankment Place. He was also the Board member responsible for strategy that included developing new service lines and professional mergers.

On retiring David took a number of non-executive directorships and for eight years was Chairman of Surrey County Cricket Club and a Director of the England and Wales Cricket Board. In 2005 he was asked by the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants to lead a strategic review of the future of chartered accountancy in the 21st century.

As well as being Chairman of Tomorrow's People he is Chairman of a charity that provides homes for ex servicemen and women and a non-executive director of the Homerton University Hospital Trust.
