Jan joined Tomorrow's People in October 2005 and is responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives in the criminal justice and social enterprise arenas. Jan also leads the development of The Junction - a project that gives people with a history of offending an opportunity to live and work in a residential community, as their route back to reintegration into society. As a member of the Trust's Management Committee, Jan shares responsibility for overall management of Tomorrow's People.
A senior manager with over 28 years experience in the public and third sectors, Jan has experience of running social businesses at the highest level. She has project-managed a number of capital programmes and joint ventures and has experience of raising funds from both the commercial and philanthropic sectors. In 2005, she completed a specialist MBA dissertation on the development of social enterprises in the UK and available funding models.
