Simon joined Tomorrow's People in the new role of Chief Operating Officer in August 2010. His qualifications include an MBA and Post Graduate Diploma (DMS) in Management Studies and his most recent experience was as Executive Director of Operations for WRVS. In this role he helped significantly improve the organisation's profitability and shape its future strategy.
Simon sees four main challenges in the COO role at Tomorrow's People: developing the many external opportunities created by a well-connected and energetic Chief Executive; further developing an integrated and team-based approach to the way Tomorrow's People operates; building on the organisation's proud record as a commercial and businesslike charity and developing the full potential of social enterprises, retail, trading and other income-generation initiatives.
