Working in some of the most deprived areas of England and Scotland, our staff see the human misery behind the unemployment figures: bleak prospects, depression, alcohol and drug problems, even homelessness. For nearly 30 years we have been successfully reaching those facing the greatest barriers to work with targeted employment support.

Our employment programmes help long-term, sometimes life-long, unemployed adults into sustainable jobs. Our pioneering programmes for 16-24 year olds transform the prospects of disadvantaged and marginalised young people.
