What information will I need to give you?
That will depend on what you need. Generally, it will be useful for us to have a vacancy list, job description and person specification. But we can discuss your specific needs and what we need to know in detail with your contact at Tomorrow's People.
How do I know the candidates you put forward will be suitable?
We are highly experienced at matching employees with employers - we have been doing it successfully since 1984. We will make sure that candidates we send you have had the pre-work guidance and training they need to get them job-ready before we put them forward.
What is In-Work support?
It is an extra support service that we provide to make sure the employee you take on makes a successful start. For six months we will work with you and the employee to help smooth a candidate's transition into the role.
What if I have a problem with a worker I recruit through Tomorrow's People?
On the rare occasions that a problem comes up, either for an employer or an employee, our In-Work support staff will act as an intermediary to ensure a swift and agreeable solution.
What is an Adviser?
Advisers or Employment Advisers are our staff who work with people providing personal support, practical help and guidance until they are job ready. Advisers help clients with their CVs, application forms, job search and help them access funding for courses and training to improve their skills. It is because of the work of our skilled Advisers that the candidates coming to you are right for the job and ready to make a contribution to your business.
Who will be my main point of contact?
Someone from our employer liaison team.
How much does the service cost?
Our recruitment service is completely free.
How do you prepare the candidates you send?
We respond to each person as an individual, addressing their own needs, skills and of course their aims and ambitions. In general we work with everyone to develop the skills all employers want in a worker: good communication, time management and organisation. If you need staff with specific skills, we can develop training that prepare candidates with the skills you want.
What type of people do you work with?
Our clients are 18 or over and unemployed. We target our work on people who experience a wide variety of barriers to employment. Some of the people who come to us need help with CVs and interview practice, while others need confidence-building, or more intensive support and coaching. By the time they leave Tomorrow's People, all the people we work with are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in their chosen work.
Contact your local Tomorrow's People office and we will talk to you about finding the people you need to support your business.
