George's Story
George was left on his own as a full-time parent when his son was just 18 months old. He was then made redundant and his home was repossessed. He found new housing, but struggled to find the part-time work that would have allowed him to care for his child. When George came to Tomorrow's People he started attending a nearby agricultural college and gained new qualifications in tree felling and environment. Within a year he was able to set up his own business.
