Who we work with

Individuals

We support jobseekers in the hardest to help groups around the UK – people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, lone parents, ex-offenders, excluded young adults, the homeless and refugees.

We do this on a on a one-to-one, confidential basis – offering training, confidence building, job search, CV writing, interview skills, and debt counselling at no cost to the individual.

Businesses

Our operation centres across the UK work closely with local employers and a wide range of partner organisations to deliver specialist services to the long-term unemployed. Read some of our case studies to see how we work with businesses.

There are many practical ways in which businesses can help us continue our high level of service to the long-term unemployed. These include funding a work programme, offering work placements and jobs, providing office space, or mentoring. Find out more about how to support us

Voluntary sector and community groups

Our advisers take their expertise and support out into the community – libraries, community centres, doctor’s surgeries, training centres and Jobcentres – to reach people who need our help. This means we have an extensive network of community groups that support our work.

The intensive support required to help the long-term unemployed means that we form alliances with many different community and other organisations to make sure we can fully meet the needs of every community we work in.
